Prof. Dr. A Fathahudeen has been a Consultant Pulmonologist with the Government of Kerala for about 20 years. He holds an MBBS and an MD in Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Fathahudeen is currently designated as Professor and Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at the Govt. TD Medical College, Alappuzha (formerly Alleppey). He also visits the TASMAAC centre at the Govt. Medical College in Trivandrum, where he can be consulted on Mon/Thur/Fri evenings.
Dr. Fathahudeen's areas of specialisation are asthma, allergy, smoking-related lung diseases and sleep medicine. He is well-versed in dealing with cases involving lung interventions, and has much experience and expertise in treating complicated lung infections, nasal and respiratory allergies and interstitial lung diseases. He is adept at bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy procedures as well.
